This rifle is very important to US Army collectors. These rifles are made using the original GI M1919 stock assembled to the NFA-legal semi-automatic sideplate / receiver. During manufacturing the device is also designed or re-engineered to fire in automatic mode making it NFA / ATF compliant. The Model 1919 machine gun was developed and developed shortly after World War II and was used extensively throughout World War II, Korea and Vietnam. It has proven to be one of the most durable, reliable and effective rifles and is widely used by the US Army and USMC. This model was designed to match the weight, feel, performance and firing (in a predictable manner) of the original 1919A6 rifle. Very good with 95% mint green finish remaining, minor nicks and nicks, and all markings. This needs to change. The tripod is in very good condition with a few scratches and light paint marks. The accessories are all very nice.
